J & J Ventures Gaming LLC Awards Exclusive Scholarships

On June 2nd J&J Ventures was recognized by the Effingham Chamber of Commerce as an exclusive scholarship sponsor to four area students pursuing higher education. $1,000 each was presented to one high school senior and three adults who met the qualification criteria and who have the drive, energy and compassion to be future leaders of their communities.

The individuals chosen by J&J include Drew Gibson, Claire Niebrugge, Reed Hardiek and Kaitlin Cordes. Drew Gibson of Effingham, is a 2017 graduate of St. Anthony High School, and will attend the University of Illinois to study Business and Finance. Claire Niebrugge, also from Effingham, currently attends Missouri State University and is studying Sports Medicine and Athletic Training. Reed Hardiek of Teutopolis, attends Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and studies Mechanical Engineering. Kaitlin Cordes studies Journalism at Eastern Illinois University. She also is from Effingham. The scholarships are to be used to finance the recipients’ tuition, books, and fees.
